8 Managing User Accounts

Access to the VRE is controlled by Project-based and role-based permissions.  The combination of Project and user role defines which data and resources a user can access in the VRE.  When a Project is created, a Platform Administrator will assign the first Project Administrator; Project Administrators can then invite new Project members to collaborate on the Project and grant new members specific rights and roles within the Project.
