3 - Project Creation
Prerequisites to creating new Projects
Before adding a Project into the VRE Portal, the final approval of the VRE Governance Manager must be obtained signifying that all applicable data sharing agreements, Research Ethics Board approvals and data protection authorizations are secured.
How to Create a Project
- Log into the VRE Portal with Platform Administrator credentials.
- On the Landing Page, click the
Create New Project icon in the top right hand corner. - Complete the required fields in the Create Project dialogue box and click OK.
- The newly created Project will appear in the Projects list on the Landing Page.
Updates can be made to the Project details by Project and Platform Administrators on the Project Settings page. See Adding a Project Member for next steps.
Minio policy creation for new project
Upload errors may occur if the project's minio buckets policies are not created, to diagnose and fix this see here
How to setup Project Wiki
A project subwiki should be set up for each new project created on the VRE. See Project Subwiki Setup project for details on how Platform Administrator can perform the initial setup steps required to allow Project Members to use the Wiki for their Project.
