| 7 | The VRE has undergone a data protection evaluation by an independent law firm (July 2021). This evaluation concluded that the services of the Virtual Research Environment platform can be offered as commissioned data processing for health-related research projects in compliance with the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This includes processes and documentation that enables the users of the Virtual Research Environment platform to carry out Data Protection Impact Assessments for their respective research projects. | ||
